Noble Events Limited (DMCC Branch) was tasked with bringing to life the concept of building a pop up restaurant on top of the highest mountain in the UAE.
The aim of the event was to serve the equivalent of a Michelin star menu in this most breath-taking setting, Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah. 150 media and customer guests were invited over a period of a week, with a maximum of 16 guests and 2 hosts at any one time, giving the event a truly exclusive feel.
The build, headed up by Noble Events’ Technical Production Manager, took 15 men four days to complete. The design was inspired by the desert and rocky terrain of the area, with touches of Bentley added to create a “wow” factor, including a Hollywood-style sign set into the mountain.
The interior of the structure was designed to look simple and elegant, complementing the view to give a real moment of impact as guests entered. A Bentley World was created, with a Mulliner wall and a Centenary wall to celebrate the rich product history.
A two day programme was created, beginning with guests spending a night in Dubai. The following morning began with a product presentation and safety briefing before a convoy of Bentleys left Dubai for Jebel Jais.
On arrival at the observation deck, guests were immersed in the Bentley brand, with product including the Bentayga, Bentayga W12 by Mulliner and the Mulsanne Grand Limo on display. They also had the opportunity to talk to their hosts before sitting down to a sumptuous lunch.
Chef Colin Claque, who has previously worked alongside Anton Mosimann and Sir Terence Conran, deigned and created the menu specifically for this event, obtaining the best ingredients to create an unforgettable dining experience.
The programme concluded with a self-drive opportunity from Jebel Jais back to Dubai in a fleet of Bentayga and Continental GT vehicles. The event won recognition from Bentley Global as an excellent concept and a very successful campaign.
